Our policies
Anti-Bullying Policy
GradeSmart Tuition is committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated.
What is bullying?
Bullying is repeated behaviour intended to hurt, intimidate, humiliate or isolate another person. It can be physical, verbal, social or online (cyber-bullying). We treat every form seriously because of the real harm it does to a student's wellbeing and learning.
Preventing bullying
We actively promote kindness and inclusion in every session. Students are encouraged to speak up about anything that worries them, and our tutors are trained to recognise and respond to early warning signs before problems grow.
Reporting bullying
When bullying is reported, we follow a clear four-step response:
- Acknowledge — every report is taken seriously and acted on promptly.
- Investigate — we establish what happened, fairly and calmly.
- Act — appropriate action is taken to stop the behaviour.
- Support — affected students receive ongoing support.
Any incident that raises a safeguarding risk is escalated immediately under our child-protection procedures.
Diversity and inclusion
We celebrate difference. All students should feel safe and respected regardless of background, and we act firmly against discrimination of any kind.
Working together
Keeping our learning environment safe is a shared responsibility between students, tutors and parents. If you have any concerns, please contact us — we would always rather hear about a worry early.
