FAQs
Frequently asked questions

What subjects do you offer?
Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science across KS3, GCSE and A-Level — plus Primary and 11+ preparation. Additional subjects like Business and Economics are available depending on tutor availability.
Do you offer online or in-person lessons?
Both. Many families prefer online for flexibility, while in-person lessons are arranged based on location and tutor availability — including our Harrow group-tuition centre.
How long is each lesson?
In-person group sessions run 2 hours. Online 1-to-1 lessons are 1 hour as standard, with extended sessions available on request.
Are your tutors qualified?
Yes — every tutor is experienced, trained, vetted and DBS-checked. Tutors must demonstrate strong subject knowledge and meet the GradeSmart teaching standard before they take on students.
How do you match my child with a tutor?
We consider subjects, level, learning style, personality and long-term goals — the aim is a match that works academically and personally.
How quickly will my child improve?
Most families see noticeable progress within 4–8 weeks of consistent lessons. Over a full term of weekly sessions, many students improve by one to three grades.
Do you follow my child's exam board?
Yes. Lessons align to your child’s specific exam board — AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC/Eduqas or CCEA — so nothing is taught that won’t be examined.
How do payments work?
Payments are secure and online. New families can pay per lesson for the first two weeks; after that, lessons are paid monthly upfront.
